Country Butcher and Deli

Route 119 traveling west crosses Route 495 at exit 31 in Littleton, Massachusetts. A sign on your left, in front of the new Littleton Police Department says. “If You Can’t Stop, Wave.” Ponder that as you continue westbound on 119 to the Town of Groton.

Some six scenic miles after the police station you can be easily drive right past the Country Butcher and Deli. You pass Lover’s Lane on your right just before the store on your left. If you get to the Lawrence Academy you missed it. Turn around and get ready for a great old-fashioned hamburger. There are a few parking spaces in the front and plenty of spaces in the rear where there is also an entrance and a picnic table.

Inside, the Country Butcher and Deli carries an assortment of meats and seafood along with some unique product from local suppliers. Service is prompt and pleasant and the burgers are fantastic.

Cooked to order fresh ground beef burgers and soft fresh buns, these burgers are everything a burger is supposed to be; simple and delicious. There is no need to add more than a dab of mustard, but a full complement of condiments is available should you wish to dabble with perfection. Regularly priced at $4.00 for a hamburger and $4.50 for a cheeseburger, these burgers are worth going out of your way.
